What is Dungeons & Dragons?
Dungeons & Dragons is a tabletop role-playing game where you create a character and go on epic adventures guided by a Dungeon Master. It's a game of imagination, storytelling, strategy and collaboration. Your choices drive the story: you might be a brave warrior, a cunning rogue, a powerful wizard, or anything in between.
Do I need any experience to play?
Absolutely not! Many players come to GuildHall having never rolled a die. Our Learn To Play sessions are built for new players: our DMs teach you the rules, help you create a character, and guide you through your first adventure.
What do I need to bring?
Nothing! We provide character sheets, dice, rulebooks, miniatures, battlemaps and all gaming materials. You're welcome to bring your own dice if you have favourites.
How many players per session?
Our tables have a maximum of 6 players plus the Dungeon Master: big enough for fun group dynamics, small enough that everyone gets time in the spotlight.
Can I come alone?
Absolutely! Many of our players start their D&D journey solo and are instantly welcomed. You'll be grouped with other adventurers at your table.
Board games
Do I need to book a board game pass?
Walk-ins are welcome while passes last, but we only sell a limited number each day (fewer when groups have rented tables), so booking online guarantees your spot.
Is there a time limit?
No. A pass is for the whole day: stay from opening to closing, no clock-watching.
Can I bring my own food?
Yes! We're not a café, so outside food and drinks are welcome. We also sell snacks and drinks at mama-shop prices.
I don’t know any games. Will someone teach us?
Yes. Our facilitators can recommend a game for your group and teach you how to play, and solo visitors can join an open table.
Rooms & tables
How do room and table rentals work?
Book online from tomorrow onwards, minimum 3 hours. A private room is $20/hour for up to 7 people including your DM; we assign the room. A table Outside is $10/hour for up to 6. Your booking is confirmed as soon as you pay.
Payments & cancellations
Can I cancel?
Cancel at least 10 days before your session or rental for a full refund. WhatsApp us on +65 9776 8025 or email hello@guildhall.sg with your booking reference.
How do I pay?
Online by card, PayNow, GrabPay, Apple Pay or Google Pay through Stripe’s secure checkout. Your booking is confirmed by email as soon as payment goes through.
I have a rebooking voucher. How do I use it?
Book your session as usual and enter the code on the payment page. Vouchers work on game sessions.
Visiting
Where is GuildHall?
Tan Ean Kiam Building #05-00, 15 Phillip St, Singapore 048694: 5 minutes from Raffles Place and Telok Ayer MRT. Snacks and drinks are available on-site.
Can I return something from the shop?
Unused items in their original packaging can be returned within 30 days; sale items are final. See our refund & returns policy for the details.
